Welcome to the PEM CRC

Who are we?

The Pediatric Emergency Medicine Collaborative Research Committee (PEM CRC) of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is a subcommittee of the Section on Emergency Medicine. We currently have 76 contributing sites across the United States, Canada, and Spain.

PEM CRC is a proud contributing member of the international Pediatric Emergency Research Networks (PERN) collaboration.

What do we do?

The PEM CRC provides a framework for multicenter investigation, serving to support and facilitate the development of useful and rigorous collaborative research in PEM. While the PEM CRC is an unfunded volunteer effort, it provides an important means of developing high-quality protocols and identifying interested co-investigators at member sites.

Additionally, we strive to support and develop the next generation of pediatric emergency medicine researchers.
